SINGAPURA - DURI DALAM DAGING KEPADA POLITIK NUSANTARA

ST SINGAPURA LAGAKAN HUBUNGAN HARMONI ANTARA KAUM DI MALAYSIA.

Singapore Straits Times gets another chance to defame BN.

Teo Cheng Wee continues his course for hitting BN.

  1. He blamed the brutality of Malaysian police for the death of an Indian security guard, Mr C.Sugumaran. As a result, PM DS Najib was forced to intervene in the murder case.

  1. However, thoughtless reporter Teo Cheng Wee wanted to influence the public opinion by condemning the police. He maintained that the police particularly exploit the Indian community. To strengthen his course, he recalled the case of the death of former Indian car thief A.Kugan.

  1. He sneakily interpreted the case again into politics, by inferring that support from Indian community could be affected badly as happened in the 2008 general election.

  1. Even the racial groups from Opposition gave the opportunity to this debris scrawling reporter an addition to his points for blemishing BN.

  1. He got his scores backed up by a booby political analyst, Shaharuddin Badaruddin, representing the hostility attitude of the opposition party, and in turn related the case to upcoming general election.

It seems that none of political leaders have an initiative to educate the public that isolated criminal cases like these two, should not be twisted into politics.

If any rational politician has the gumption to suggest with strong discretion and facts in Parliament, instead of delivering excessive defence to the specific potential criminal, the majority would agree that the court should be given the trust to judge the whole tragedies sagaciously.

It is the national duty of every policeman to restore order and to maintain peace and stability. One of the actions is to prevent violence and potential criminalities. This point was not emphasized in his article.

Hence, reporter like this one from SST lacks personal judgemental view. He easily takes for granted writing in favour of opposition, keeping distance from impartiality.
